Questions and Answers: Latisse

What is the purpose of Latisse?
According to the makers of Latisse, the product is supposed to lengthen, thicken and dark and eyelashes.  Eyelashes grow for a while and then they fall out.  Latisse is supposed to extend the growth phase and increase the number of hairs in the lash line.

How is Latisse applied?
Every night, people using Latisse are supposed to gather the product on the upper lash line with a sterile applicator, which is supplied.   When people blink, the product automatically gets distributed to the lower lash line.

What must people do before applying Latisse?
Before people apply Latisse, they need to wash their faces, remove makeup and also remove their contact lenses.

When do people see results?
Generally, people start to see results after two months of using the product every night. After three or four months has passed, doctors may say that patients can use the product every two nights instead of nightly.  If people stopped using Latisse, their eyelashes will return to their former state overtime.
