Ukrainian Model Uses Plastic Surgery to Become a Real Life Barbie

A 21-year-old Ukrainian model by the name of Valeria Lukyonova has become an internet sensation thanks to her cosmetically-enhances Barbie looks that have transformed her body into a real living doll.

The model is becoming noticed in the United States for her surprisingly Barbie-like appearance. Barbie is a fashion doll manufactured by the infamous American toy maker, Mattel, Inc. Barbie was first launched in March of 1959 and the doll has been a household name ever since. American businesswoman Ruth Handler has credited the creation of Barbie with the German Bild Lilli, which she used as inspiration for the creation of Barbie.

Barbie has found herself in the hands of little girls and collectors all over the world for more than fifty years, and has been the subject of many controversies for her extremely small waste and ample bosom. Despite the controversy over the doll's rather mature appearance and skimpy outfits, the fashion doll has been sold worldwide in over 150 countries, with the toy manufacturer claiming that three Barbie dolls are sold every second.

The world's "real life Barbie," Valerie Lukyonova caught the eyes of people everywhere after a video was released about the plastic surgeries she underwent in order to transform herself into a life-sized Mattel Barbie doll. She recently posed for V magazine's "Girl Power" issue where her newly transformed look has been put on display for the world to view.

As the self-described "most famous Russian woman on the Russian-speaking internet," Lukyonova has intentionally enhanced her body parts to emulate Mattel's Barbie doll. In the issue, due to be released on November 15th, V magazine notes their source claims the Security Service of Ukraine is monitoring Lukyonova's activities.

In recent years, plastic surgery has become exceedingly common for fashion models, actresses and other performing artists, and it has proven extremely critical for many peoples' careers. Fortunately, since plastic surgery has become more affordable and widely available, more and more people are turning towards various plastic surgery and body contouring techniques to take years of their appearance and revive a more youthful version of themselves, regardless of what industry they work in.
