Do you dream about having a round, perfectly sculpted derriere? Has your once youthful bum transformed over the years as gravity took over? Whether you were born with less than perfect genetics and never enjoyed a full behind, or your backend no longer looks as perky as it did before, there is something that you can do about it.
Dr. Yuly Gorodisky is literally transforming patients’ bodies with the Brazilian butt lift (BBL). This popular procedure does more than enhance your curves, it uses VASER LipoSelection to remove unwanted fat from other areas of the body, and injects it into your buttocks, resulting in a beautifully sculpted physique.
Women across the world are falling in love with this slimming, yet curve-enhancing procedure because it’s giving them the body they have always dreamed of.
Am I a good candidate for the BBL?
You must be in good health to be considered a candidate. You shouldn’t have any lung or heart conditions, or any neurological disorders.
What sets the BBL apart from butt implants?
The Brazilian butt lift is a fat grafting procedure; many patients choose a BBL over butt implants because the complication rate is lower, and patients get liposuction while shaping their butt. Sometimes, however, we consider butt implants for patients who have no fat on their bodies or are unable to gain weight.
Will I have to gain weight for the procedure?
After discussing your goals, and how big you want your butt to be, we’ll decide if it’s necessary to gain weight. Typically, it’s best for patients to be 10 to 15 pounds heavier than their ideal weight prior to surgery.
Where will fat be extracted from?
For the most part fat is taken from the lower back, the hips, abdomen, and inner thighs. It comes down to how much fat you have and what types of results you’re looking for.
Will a BBL cause cellulite?
No, a BBL actually improves the appearance of cellulite. Liposuction is performed in a deeper layer; therefore, we’re not extracting fat from the surface of the skin. Since the procedure is performed below the muscle, in the muscle, and above the muscle, we’re improving the appearance of cellulite.
How long will the results last?
A fat graft does not just dissolve away. Approximately 70% of the injected fat will stay in the area, and about 30% will be reabsorbed by the body. The fat that remains establishes a blood supply, which means that fat will stay put.
The Brazilian butt lift is a very long-lasting procedure. If you lose weight, the fat will shrink, and if you gain weight, the fat will grow, however, the fat cells remain in place.
