Are you a candidate for VelaShape?
The ideal type of person for this procedure is a patient who has a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 29 or less, and whose within The Nurnberger-Muller Cellulite Classification of State 1 or State 2.
For example, with Stage 1, there is NO dimpling when the patient stands or lies down, but a pinch test shows the “orange peel” appearance of cellulite. With Stage 2, there is “orange peel” dimpling when the person stands up, but NOT when they lay down. Cellulite that is more severe than this is best treated with another device called Cellfina. This is a minimally invasive procedure that Dr. Gorodisky also performs.
What can you expect from VelaShape treatments?
